Balance

When I take pictures, I try to include elements that others might not think about.

For instance, these two images were taken knowing that they had similar elements. As you can see, I have cropped the images to focus on just the shoes. They both show balance, one of a toddler and the other of a man - both of them showing their own way of keeping steady.

Here are some additional thoughts about these images of Kevin and Edison: I have known Kevin forever it seems, and he has always worn this shoe style. I think I even took a picture of him with his wife (my sister) wearing these same shoes on their wedding day. I thought it was adorable that his son, Edison, is now wearing the same style. I know Kevin is providing the stability Edison needs, but also allows him to hold his own when the time is right.

I’ll get some pictures of my son on here soon. David is now a teenager… that’s a whole different sense of balance.
